Algae Scrubber, Reactor, Overflow??

Here are a couple of pictures of my current setup. I am using a reactor with Phosban, but it is not taking care of all of my hair algae. So I was considering making an algae scrubber. But I am not sure how to get the water to it. I plan on making one that hangs in the second chamber of my sump, out of the water except for the last couple of inches which would be submerged.

I was considering hard plumping my overflow into my filter sock and inserting a "Y" above the sock and routing part of the water into the 3/4" pipe that would allow the water to flow over the algae scrubber.

Or the pump that currently powers the reactor is only running at about 25%. I was wondering if I could "Y" off of that pump and route the water into the pipe that allows the water to flow over the algae scrubber.

Or I could take the reactor out all together and dedicate that pump to the algae scrubber.

Or lastly, since I still have a couple of open slots on my power rack,I could just add another pump.

Any ideas or suggestions? Sorry for the power rack picture, I could not find a way to rotate it.

How big is the pump running the reactor? You need about 35gph per in of slot length on a ats that is not related to head press of pump. I have an ats on two diff tanks one uses an output from my rtn pump the other is using an mj600. Prolly should have gone to mj1200 on the one but it is working. It will aid in reducing you po4 and trates.
