Had a tank crash a month ago as my doser failed and caused Alk swing. Tank is recovering slowly but there is a lot of algae. My cheto is not growing as these algae are growing all over my glass.
  • Will Hydrogen peroxide dosing help?
  • How much should I does?
  • WIll it affect my shrimp?
My nitrates are around 50 ppm which is high but I have never had it below 25 pm in years that I has it.

Tanks is 120 gallons bare bottom and been running for 3 years
1 Purple tang, 1 Yellow tang, 1 CBB, 1 Sixline Wrase, 1 Azure Damsel, 1 Royal Gamma, 2 orange clown, 2 cleaner shrimps. Manly LSP and have lost of SPS frags.

remove algae manually and do water change. cheto require phosphate, nitrate and iron. you can dose iron to refresh the cheto. Cheto will fight green algae.
