Algae turf scrubber against phosphates

I’ve had my tank running for 3 years now and I’ve always had issues with higher phosphate. (Usually around .25). I have no algae issues other than aggressive film algae. I currently run gfo and a algae reactor. My corals are healthy and grow great. I was wondering how well adding a turf scrubber would be over gfo. Gfo can get spendy and is a pita to change. I’ve used liquid phosphate remover but once again cost and I’d prefer to keep things more natural

They work well. It’s like a mini hobby within a hobby growing scrubbers :)
