Algae turf scrubber spray bar

So I have an algae turf scrubber and it runs pretty good, but not perfect flow because I can't cut a straight line. I use a dremmel but no luck. This is my best cut and it's not perfect. Any suggestions on tools or know anyone that cuts these for sale?

If it were me, I'd grab a new piece screw it on both sides to a piece of plywood, nail a 2x4 on one side or both, which ever is need and then use a skil saw.

But cut it long, so you can cut off the ends you put screws through. Or cut on an angle, then trim it straight when your done cutting your line.

Honestly that pipe and cut look fine to me. No matter what you do, the flow down the screen will not be perfectly even anyway. The water fall will tend to go here and there across the screen depending on a lot of factors.and then right when you feel you have it perfect, algae will start to grow on the pipe, changing it for you gain.
What you do not want to do in my opinion is to cut the pipe all the way across, it will collapse after a while and squeeze off the water supply.

I would say to try it out and see what happens, no sense stressing too much about it.

That looks fine. I took a drill and made some holes along the slit on mine to help the water flow a bit better. Over time you will come up with ways to make it work better. But what you have there should be ok.

I have considered that, I am having good luck with the algae turf scrubber. I have a brs dual reactor I'd I ever decide to switch.

You beat me to it @TMB - I concur, it looks good to me. I cut these with a router using a clamping jig, doing it with a table saw or skil saw is a bit hairy.

Cut another, even straighter this time, used and attachment on my dremmel but slightly wider than the recommended 1/8th.
