Hello,

I have a diy acrylic algae turf scrubber. It is capable of handling tanks up to 100 gallons or a cube of frozen a day. It comes with everything you need to run it except for a pump. I had been running a rio on it and using the included ball valve to control flow. It uses 660nm solderless led's which makes replacements pretty straightforward for non-diy people. It also has a built in emergency overflow in case of clogs (never happened to me) and a large ball valve on the bottom to create a drain siphon and decrease noise. I will include canvas mesh for you to rough up and install as a screen.

Priced: $100 + shipping

What are the dimensions of the scrubber? Sorry for my ignorance, but I'm assuming this one rests over the sump? Thanks!

Hello, it is 9" x 8 and 5/8" x 7" for the box. With the drain valve to make it quieter it is 9" x 8 and 5/8" x 13 and 1/8". Yes I had it resting across my sump baffles, but you could rig up an egg crate stand if need be though.
