Looks like hair algae.. pulling it manually and get a clean up crew to help ya.. turbo snails, blue leg hermits… find your source of po4 also.. I’m not sure how old your tank is?? Could be the ugly phase or po4 creeping through your rodi water.

Hair or turf algae, it's not usually harmful, however it can overgrow and smother LPS coral if it goes unchecked. It's usually caused by high phosphates/nitrates and long light exposure. You can do various chemical treatments to remove it, however I wouldn't recommend doing it that way. They're are certain inverts/fish that will eat it, such as a sea hare and lawnmower blenny. Hope that helped!

Oh, forgot to mention, while it's not ideal, you can manually pull tuffs of the algae to control population, however getting algae eating inverts/fish is a better way to control it. Also, what are your phosphates/nitrates sitting at? If they're high than you'll want to do a water change and feed less. High nutrients is one of the most common reasons why algae grows out of control

Although you will need to manually trim it down, hands off best gha cuc in my tank was my tuxedo urchin followed by Mexican Turbo snails. As mentioned you will need to address the nutrients in your tank if they are high.
