Algae

I am having a problem with algae. It gets worse the more water changes I do so I am decreasing the frequency of the water change. If Its my water what should I test for if it's providing food for the algae and home do I neutralize it

Assuming your using rodi water, you should test it for phosphate. If its hair algea you might not see it on a test, but you know its there.
