So there’s like pink stringy algae on this rock... what is it? Is this a sign of the next stage of cycling?

Get a clean up crew, snails, crabs and hermits they’ll help keep your rock work clean and avoid build up. Check out reef cleaners.org even if you don’t order from them they give great descriptions on all of the cleaners. What’s your flow like in that area? Never hurts to keep the detritus from building up either.

That’s diatoms will last a couple months best cuc is conches and Mexican turbos to keep it in check for now
