Anyone figure out how to shut off the running light/lamp for good? There is an option and it does shut it off but only for a few seconds. For some reason mine comes back on.

You're right. It always worked when I tested it by turning it off and on again, but it turns on after a few seconds, even after selecting "save device." Must be a bug. I think some black electrical tape might be your best option.

Hey can someone help? I have 1 of my 4 lights losing the time schedule and coming on randomly every night. I've updated it, reinstalled it, factory reset and nothing seems to fix it. Has this happened to anyone else? I scoured this thread some and didn't see anything.

Couple of thoughts: I have one that occasionally changes by one hour - like a daylight savings thing. I did notice that if I access the lights while traveling it has messed with the time. Any chance you were away from home? If you haven't - you might unlink the light from the group, ensure all settings are the same, click "save device", then re-link. Also, ensure that TImeZoneSet is correct in the menu. Just a thought.

Hello, I know there are a couple of threads regarding these lights. I've been running them for over a year and overall very happy. I'm curious if anyone has deciphered the qr code and engineered to make updating and importing new light schedules easier? I used a site to read the code and AI to understand it. Apparently, the qr code only saves 6 channels and not the full 8. Curious what others have found.

I figured I would update this thread in case anyone else runs into the issue that I had with one of my lights randomly not coming on at the set time, from my earlier post.

I ended up doing a firmware update on both lights, which caused me to have re-add both of the lights to the App and set them up again. That seems to have resolved my issue.

I would start conservative for sure. I PAR tested mine with an Apogee PAR meter. I had to reduce my lights down to 65% and I still get 200 par in some places on the sandbed in a 24" deep/tall tank. I get about 100-125 in the corners of the tank, on the sandbed.

For reference, I have two Pro II Max lights over a standard 36x18x24 65 gallon Marineland tank.

This is the current schedule I'm using. It's heavy on the white for about 4 hours a day.

So. Have 2 A8 Pro II Max lights. One has stopped working and the indicator light just flashes blue when plugged in. Yhe LEDs do a full power blink when 1st plugged in.
Things I have tried:
Swapped power supplies with working light no change.
Held down power button for well past six seconds, no change.
Removed power, held down power button and plugged light back in. After 10 seconds or so released button, no change.
Can’t seem to get system to factory reset or respond in any way at this point. Time to try to initiate a warranty question, or is there another trick I can try?

First you should talk to the seller
