Alk at 11.2 ?

Tank is a month old cycle was finished about 7 days ago .
I used tropic m pro salt mixed myself using water from rodi machine
Mixed at 35ppt
Has pair of clowns and 1 anthia in the tank
Is this normal?

I think tropic Marin pro mixes at an ALK of 9. So it won’t increase to 11.2. Maybe your test was off.

At the risk of sounding pedantic, a single anthias is still called an anthias, not anthia.

If you dont have anything in the tank consuming it, it should be similar to what your salt mixes at. I'm not familiar with that salt brand but test a newly mixed batch and see if they are similar.

If you dont have anything in the tank consuming it, it should be similar to what your salt mixes at. I'm not familiar with that salt brand but test a newly mixed batch and see if they are similar.
Sorry tank is 7 weeks old
