I’ve been dosing AFR for years. My tank is pretty packed with happy corals. I noticed a rise in dkh over the past month. Going from 7 to 9.6. The only thing I’ve changed is outside air flow thru the protein skimmer. Would a higher ph cause the alkalinity to go up. I always thought it was the other way around.

No,the pH rise is not a cause. Test error or dosing pump drift could be.
I would also like to add that I left my dosing container lid off for a few days. I was thinking that the AFR became more concentrated. I did get rid of the old AFR, and added two new bottles, but it continued to rise a few days after changing it out. I should’ve probably mentioned this initially.
