Alk not registering?

My tank is 47 gallons water volume, and im trying to raise my alk from 7.1. I dose 4ml of red sea (B) alk riser. yesrerday. And i tested today and hanna still shows 7.1. Do i need to wait longer or whats going on?

4ml of what? I use sodium carbonate and never havecsuch a problem

4 mL of Red Sea Foundation B in 47 gallons will only boost alk by 0.2 dKH, which would not reliably be detectable, and may easily be consumed in the time between dosing and testing anyway.

Dose more. :)

Yes thats what i figured i dosed more this morning 6ml. This morning ima test tonight.
