Hey there!

So went through some serious alk issues. I had my carx go bad and then replacement had issues so on and so forth. Anyway some of my sps has died some has been hanging on. Id like advice specifically on this piece of coral.

Alk has been stabalized.

What should I do? Cut it down? Wait?

It is probably a goner. Sorry. If you want try, leave it alone, see if the tissue loss subsides. Then, after a few weeks, you can trim the dead parts off.

Believe it or not but the tissue recession has stopped I think. It's been like this for a while. Still has polyps out on the bottom. Still leave it?

At this point you don't have much to lose so if it was me I would cut off all the dead stuff down to the live parts and give it an iodine dip. If things have stabilized and your not seeing new dead zones there's no reason that it won't start to grow back.
