Hey all,

So ive got a little issue. I do weekly water changes of 20%. All my other params are spot on ..
Salinity - 1.025
Mag - 1320
Calc - 420
Phos - .75 (ok maybe a bit high)
Nitrate - 1.01
Tenp - 77.6

These stay like this and stable all the time..... problem is the PH and alk
PH - 7.8
Alk - 12 to 12.5

How do i lower alk and raise ph???

Maybe Randy can chime in?

After adding a co2 scrubber to my skimmer my alk started coming down. (and corals look happier too!) I am at an alk of 8.4 now and that's in the range I wanted.

We have enough people and animals in the house to where I'd see 2500+ on the co2 meter. Outside air is like 300 to 400 so I imagine my ph was quite low.
