Super accurate and I hardly calibrate it. Tested to check yesterday haven’t calibrated in 4 months and was spot on. Def buy one game changer.

Just keeping that accuracy claim in reality. Even if it functioned perfectly, it cannot be more accurate than whatever kit or other method you use to measure the tank alk.

Do any of you use Kalkwasser with the doser it has built in? If so, how do you have it set up on the app? I know how it works with normal dosing, but would it be sufficient for kalkwasser, or would it dose too much at once, even with the maximum set for the hour?

Kalkwasser can be used only if the amount is small. The maximum dosage for aquawiz is 60ml /hour. So it won't dose too much.

I have the blue version 4(I think it’s v4). I love it, it needs to run a week then calibrate it. From there. The thing is solid. But, we are seriously over paying for this. I mean, it does what it says and it has been flawless.

I just ordered the CARX bolt on component. I’m setting up a new system and I am going to move my The Wizzanator 2000 (AquaWiz) and the bolt on to the new system. The AquaWiz is currently out performing my Alkatronic regarding consistency. Currently my Trident, AquaWiz and Hanna checker are all within .10 of each other 7 days later.

Did you use one of those to calibrate the wiz? Kind of minimizes a claim that they all match.

Out of the box, my wiz was 1.5-2 DKH off. On day 3 I realized my unit was not on a true level surface. It was leaning forward some, which would show a false fill in the two center tubes. So I reset the fill and put my very fancy shimming in place (maybe one day I’ll cut them). 24 hours later, same readings. I went online to the Facebook group that the instructions talks about. Some random guy from Taiwan (turns out I guess is THE guy) told me to let it simply run doing the 24/7 testing for 7 days. On the 8th day, don’t rest but calibrate the unit using whatever standard device you normally use to calibrate with. In my case, Hanna. Since doing so the second picture is my stained delta between the two. It is legit dialed. DKH = The Whizzanator 2000 (AquaWiz).

I'm curious if @Randy Holmes-Farley ever got one to test? If Randy says it's good, it's on my future shopping list! 😉

I've not tested one, but I have nothing against the concept or device except the ridiculous accuracy claims (0.03 dKH) made at the beginning of this thread. It cannot be any more accurate than whatever kit you use to calibrate it, and that assumes it has zero variability of its own, which seems implausible. That said, no one needs that level of accuracy either.

1) As previously stated, wicked algae growth in unit. I can’t put it in the “dark” as suggested. I guess I’ll have the first “black edition”.
2) it holds a calibration well. The PH probe reading is junk. I can’t get the PH to come within .30 of my calibrated PH probes for my display. I’ve done the calibration steps a dozen times. Thoughts?
3) I purchased this as I really want to add the CARX controller, which I now have. Demtri (Treasure Corals), whom I purchased from, stated that AquaWiz folks wanted to talk to me via WhatsApp regarding installing and setup. Do you know what this is about? I’ll be getting my new system wet next week and will get my CARX online then.
