I just ran all of the standard tests on one of my tanks and noticed the alkalinity was lower than it should be. I was wondering what is the maximum amount of alkalinity I can dose to the tank without causing a real "swing" and then tank crash?

Thanks in advance!

I'm not sure what the exact amount is, I think it will depend on your tank. However, you can't have a swing more than 2 points a day, Dan at WT Inc. said that corals can't handle a swing more than 2 a day.

Ok, so 1 sounds like the safest max amount to dose then.
