Alkalinity measurements..

Hi Randy!

I been using two parts dosing (Randy formula) with soda ash from beginning and everything went great... however this month my alkalinity uptake double(just above 7, normaly 8.5) meanwhile another element still the same?? That leads me to the question that may be the last batch of alkalinity not concentrate and purity enough? There is anyway to measure the solution each time you mix. Thankz for time... im big fan of your

Hello,

I noticed you were having an issue with alk. I just want to be sure you are looking to measure the actual solution itself after mixing the baking soda with water? I do not know a way to directly test the straight solution. Maybe someone else around tonight may know.

I would think maybe testing error or the ratio was off when you mixed it.
