New road bump I came across in these last few days. My alkalinity has been raising slowly and now it's up to 13+ ... And I don't know why?? Here are the parameters of my tank.
Mag-1100
Cal-380
Alk-13+
Phos-0.0
Ammonia-0.0
Nitrite-0.3
Nitrate-0.0
Salt-0.24
I know my mag and cal need to come up so I'm dosing daily :) and I'm guessing that's why some of the sps has been loosing a little color here and there. Too low on the nutrients. But my main concern is how to lower the alk, without lowering my PH. ?? My tank is a Redsea max 130d with prime led .

So all my frags started to pale and I lost 2 of my best ones due to RTN :(..... But I removed all of the remaking drags back to to mother tank and they seem to be gaining there health back :) and so the tank has been bare with just rock now and 2 fish. And I've been dosing calcium and magnesium every day. Now my parameters have started to level out :) back to the normal range again

did things ever sort themselves out for you? What was the solution if so? Just raising the mag and ca to balance things out?
