ALKATRONIC nightmare

Hi all,
So i took the plunge and bought an Alkatronic (pre-owned)
Ive come to set it up and upon downloading the focustronic app and selecting Alkatronic. Its told me i need to download the alkatronic wifi app. This app isnt support on new operating systems ! (Android , samsung s24 ultra ) as theyve phased it out. So how on earth am i supposed to set up the device ?
I feel really done over as these arnt cheap, even used.
Any help would be much appreciated
Ps. Ive tried selecting alkatronic proffesional but the device doesnt show up in wifi or bluetooth , the previous owner has confirmed it has been disconnected from her account.

Perhaps buy an old phone off of ebay to use the app? I have an older LG v20 sitting around. That may be to old. lol
