Anybody have any tips on getting a used Alkatronic setup on my home network and showing up in the device list?

I'm stuck in an infinite loop of entering serial numbers and network credentials only for this thing to not show up in my device list after the app tells me the setting were saved.

I only have android devices, is that the issue?

2.4ghz with Apex controllers and Orphek lights presently on the network.

I read I should see a RaspberryPi title iny router device list. I don't.

Have a support email going with Focustronic but thought I'd ask here first.

I know it's connecting to my phone bc it elicits a "do you want to pair".

Any suggestions?

Well, i checked again and noticed an inactive device with that was named with the serial number on my unit.

I was able to get it in my router's connected devices list by taking it off dchp and then putting back on after it connected.

But still no dice in the Alkatronic app device list. I now see it connected in my router settings but not in the app....

PM replied.

Support was able to see on their end that the former owner hadn't "unlinked" from their Alkatronic account.

Alkatronic support was able to unlink it after I provided a picture of the unit in my possession with the serial number visible.

You can also have the prior owner log in and unlink if you are still in contact with them.

Thanks for giving others a follow up.

You need to ask the person you bought it from to unlink it from their focustronic account in the alkatronic app.

If that has already happened. Try to "assign" the alkatronic to your network.
