Every coral shriveled up over night. The day before the pulsing Xenia shriveled up first. Fish are just fine. Inverts are sluggish and nem is closed up. Checked for stray current with multimeter but didn’t see any. Then checked powerheads and almost looks burnt on reef breeders. Do you guys think this is the problem? My parameters usually sit around here except nitrate is usually at 20ppm. Not sure why that dropped so low. Also tested copper with Hanna but only got .02ppmwhich is within margin of error. And not very reliable at that low to test.

I don't see anything too peculiar on those vids. Did you just add those pumps to the tank? IMO whatever cased this happened yesterday/last night.

Powerheads been in for 8 months. Haven’t done a water change since last week. Haven’t changed flow, messed with lights. Added a pinch of coral max to the fish food the day before this happened. Fish are active and cleaner shrimp. All other inverts and corals are either closed/ semi closed or not moving. All my corals have been open and growing before hand.

How is the salinity?
1.026 and my system is on an ato. I’ve kept the Reef tank around at since it’s been set up. Sometimes it’s 1.025. Totally forgot to add salinity to parameters. I’ve struggled a lot the first few months but I’ve really seemed to dial in my tank and have had some good growth over the last 3 months. Not sure what’s going on. But as a precautionary, I took out that power head and added carbon and resin. I’ve heard poly pads might help. Just have to get some.

Added poly pads added a few days ago. Still clear color. Not sure what’s going on. Also added a grounding probe just in case.

Are the corals all still shriveled up? Hows your temperature? And I would verify the temp with a second source. Something is definitely off if everything shriveled up overnight and hasnt opened since
