All in one sump questions

I’ve seen people adding sumps in their cabinets under their all in one. A couple people said it helps a lot with the clarity and I want mine to be mint. I just don’t really understand how the sump connects to the filter.

You can use a hang on overflow in the back of your all in one. Then do all your filtration in the sump.



No drilling. I used the Eshopps AEO10100 Overflow Nano Box. I did have to make a few cuts to the hood to make it fit with the hood. I wanted to keep the hood because I have young children who I didn’t want to put stuff in the tank.
