Your mom says she doesn't have favorites, but she does, and we are just like her! What is your all-time favorite reef resident?

It would have to be my juvenile goldflake angelfish, tick! Not only a stunning animal, but he is so confident and spunky that I never get bored watching him. He will swim up to the glass and dominance posture at  me when I approach. Still, besides posturing at fish 3x his size and asserting his place at the top, he is a very lenient boss and doesn't do anything more crazy or aggressive than sizing up his minions.

Just for personality I’ve always had a soft spot for lawnmower blennies and now flame hawks (both very curious and love to perch). Interestingly, guests always comment on them as well. First thought is that they’re dead…”you know you have a dead fish just laying on top of the pump right?”. Then they notice the eyes following them, or the fish jumping to another lookout position. People are very curious about them and ask a lot of questions. They comment on how beautiful other fish are, but really get caught up in the personalities of those fish.
