i think so, they are slowly turning purple/pink I dose strontium every week.

Alk 8.1 Ca 450 Mg 1450 no3 5 po4 0.05-0.06
I’m trying to lower the Ca and Mg to 420 and 1420

I ordered 3 radium 400w 20k SE bulbs, they will be arriving this week. I will be raising the fixture to 20” above the water (right now 16”). Still waiting for the Radion G5, come on ecotech!
I almost pulled the trigger on the new red sea reefled, but they don’t have the hanging kit yet, plus for a little extra money, it would be wise to get the radion instead. I’m planning to add 8 of the xr15 pro (4 on each side) as supplemented lighting.

Both Ca and Mg are within the margin of error for just about any test kit... So there might be no point in messing with them unless you are seeing a problem you believe is attributable to them.

Finally put all my fishes in!
Currently running 120w uv, i’ll try to plumb the other 57w tonight.
The Giesemann Spectra is 16 inch above the water, doing a decent job.

I love the scape in this tank!!

Thinking about selling this tank and going for a lagoon style shallow reef as i'm running out of space on the current tank/aquascape. New tank will be a 72"x72"x20" shallow reef cube. It'll be a 450 gallon tank as well but i'll have a lot more space to put multiple sps colony. Still thinking about it.

Just pulled the trigger on 10 x Radion Xr15 G5 Blue, and 2 x 36" reefbrite xho blue for the frag system.
I decide to keep my main display tank a little bit longer, saw the release of the reefer s-1000 and what a tank! Wife likes it so much, but i need a peninsula style tank, if red sea release a flagship peninsula tank i will buy it right away!
