A just bought a frag acro. It is almost white. Only a very slight greenish tint and light blue tips. Does this whitish acro need low light?

Any signs of life on the frag if so I would start it from mid tank

It is not bleached. I saw the mother colony. Without light blueish tips you would think it was freshly bleached. I will start out with medium lighting.

Ya some acro's have white in between nicely colored coralites and tips. This may be completely fine depending on the species and what kind of light it was under. Likely strong, but even if it browns out a bit, safer to start under medium light as mentioned.
