Just wanted to know what would be the best method of removal for aluminum? Ive since removed my marine pure which i think is the main source of the leaching but since then my corals are still irritated and half closed... some even losing polyps. I used polyfilter and i dont think that removed it... What other product could i use to remove it? Thank you

Alk: 8.6
Calc: 508
MG: 1290

Nitrate: 5
Phos: 0-?(reading was showing me 0)

Water changes would he the best way. Get the aluminum contaminated water out and replace it with new saltwater :)

What test kit are you using for phosphate. GFO is good at removing aluminum to my knowledge but you need to have some phosphate or it will kill your coral.

Im using salifert for phos
Oh wow. Yea don’t use gfo yet. Lol. Your zero phosphates are prob why your corals are mad. Elevated aluminum isn’t actually that big of an issue, but zero phosphates for sure is.
