Hello, I've had an Alveopora for about a month and it's looked awesome, always open and extended. Yesterday my giant turbo snail decided it wanted to stick on the plate my Alveopora is on and just stay there all day, I finally was able to move the snail. My Alveopora stayed partially closed all day yesterday because of the snail and when I just got home from work, it's still closed. How long would you give it before possibly moving it to a different spot? I'm not very familiar with Alveopora and I'm 100 percent sure it stayed closed yesterday because my turbo snail was all over it.

Why was the Turbo on it, is there algae growth on the stoney skeleton?

It was probably harmless algae on the plate itself.

My turbos do this, the Alveo will be fine.

I wouldn’t be concerned unless it stays closed another day

Thanks guys, and I don't know, it just latched itself onthe alveopora plate all day and I didn't want to peel it off. It may have had some algae on it, it's not on the plate anymore, but my alveopora is still closed.
