Question: does anyone know why my Alveopora would be doing this? It's mainly the new growth and the lower tentacles/polyps that are cone shaped. The green one next to it has a couple as well. Both seem healthy and are growing. I recently moved them from my 75 to my 125 and that's when I noticed it. I'm thinking lower PAR than they were in but was curious if anyone else has seen this.

I'm upgrading my light they're under to the light they were used to soon so we'll see if that works.

Is the coral growing?
I have not heard of this phenomenon you have seen but if they are growing then I would not be concerned. Let us see what other people think?!

Coral appears to be growing. It extends way more than when it was in the 75. I'm thinking it's probably light since I'm pretty sure they're in lower PAR and it's only the bottom ones doing it, but not all of them.
