Hey guys,

Quick question on alvoporas. I have had mine for about 2 months now and it has its polyps extended really wide. When i bought it it had polyps/tentacles of about half an inch. Now some of those are almost 4-6 inches long. Ill add pictures but its tough to take good shots where it is located in my tank. Im wondering if its just really happy or if it doesnt get enough light? Placement is about middle to bottom in a tank with softies lps and sps.

Thanks in advance!

It looks fantastic to me. I think providing nutrients for this coral is just as important as lighting and flow.

Thanks for the reply! I do feed regularly. What kind of flow would u suggest for it. I felt like too much flow can hurt it. It looks healthy tough i was simply unsure about the size it got. Its like 5x the size it looked when i bought it. ( even tough i doubt it grew much yet)

I would not change a thing, but I have kept them under indirect mod flow. :-)
