Tank looks great.

Personally I'd try and go led if I were to set up a frag tank. Maxspect and Reefkoi are known to have pretty decent fixtures for a great price. I would check them out!

Looking good!. I really like that tank with the cat, is the black part just to hold the light or does it have a light built into it? I personally set my frag system up as close as I could to my DT as far as equipment goes.

Are you fragging the cat?
I will take a nice piece of cats paw if you do.

the tank is just a tank - the black "stand" is just the coffee table in the room. happens to fit perfectly, but that's not where it's set up.

the black removable acrylic light rack is designed to house the lighting, and also fits inside the tank for easy transport. reefbrite led bars was the lighting idea, but i've not yet done anything with it. it's still sitting empty. it was used for one frag swap, but we just zip-tied some t5 retros to it for that.

one of these days i'll have motivation to get going on it.

I'm not sure I am in to the LEDs yet, they make some corals pop but how much heat do they put out compared to MH? I do like the frag tank the cat is in, would make for a nice conversation piece in the living room eh1?
