Someone else with a green striped infestation....I don't feel alone anymore.

My timeline for green and red discoma coverage like that was about 8 years, should have killed them off at the base of rock structures, now the little green ones shed and settle wherever they wish weekly.

I've been using Franks F-Aiptasia and started using vinegar, with the vinegar they seem to detach to be siphoned out, the franks pretty much kills them, but any bits of tissue left will regrow.
Thanks for sharing, do you have a photo?

Here is a recent shot, this is in a 29 gallon. In 2011 the rock was bare except for a few xenia frags, both sides are covered and they are creeping up the right and left side now. I've had both mushrooms for a while, a single green striped one survived a total heat wave tank crash in 2002, the red one I picked up around 2005 and it disappeared in my 65 gallon. So you do have some time....but watch them, the little ones wind up in my zoas all the time. They will attach to anything hard on my sand bed. I have to watch my favias, they will stick to the bases of those, not sure who would win the fight and don't wish to find out.
