It seems they don't like to be filmed either. I had just shot this and minutes after, it deflates. It's already in the hospital tank.
Am I ready for a Magnifica?

I can't provide enough light in the hospital tank, I only have a 12watt spot led. Since light degrades cipro, wouldn't it be a better option to bring the nem back to the main tank for 8 hours per day, taking it back to the hospital tank for 16 hours per day, everyday?
The nem is still attached to a piece of live rock.
I have a 36watt UV running in the main tank with slow flow.

I would not put it back in the main tank everyday in case for some reason let go or wandered while you were not there to monitor it. I would just position the led directly above it in the hospital tank.

Thanks for asking. Today was the first day the mag didn't deflate. I spent the whole checking on her (in Portuguese "anemone" is a feminine word :) ) every few minutes saying "Please hang in there just a little longer until lights out, don't deflate, don't deflate". I even played music for her :)
I began treatment with cipro on monday and I will continue at least until next Monday.
The 100% waterchanges are nerve wrecking. She is on top of an inverted tall glass jar and when I siphon the water out, seeing her hanging down the sides of the jar is a frightening vision. It takes a couple of minutes to do the water change, but right after the water is back in, she looks event better than before.
I hope she doesn't deflate tomorrow.

The mag deflated twice on the first couple of days of treatment and since then, it's been fine. It's been a week since I began the treatment and tomorrow I will be transferring it to the main tank again.
Today I made a complete rescape of the tank layout and I am waiting for everything to settle down.
I have one question. The mag is now attached to the top of a glass jar. Should I attempt to remove it from the jar or is it better to put the jar right next to the rock I prepared for the mag and hope it moves on its own?

The story stopped right about the time I took this picture.
I pulled it out of the jar and into the tank.
I guess it was too stressed by that operation because it took a long time to attach itself to the rock.
It was ok for a few days and I began feeding it. I gave it half a shrimp. The next day it deflated.
I thought it could be normal because the BTA's always do it after a substancial meal.
But on the next day, it deflated again and I was going away for 5 days.
I ended up not doing anything and for 2 days the tank was on its own before I had a friend go check on the tank and stay for the rest of the time before I returned.
It was ok while he was there and it has been fine :)

Glad to see that it bounced back and seems to be on the right track. You have some serious flow going on in that tank and I thought for some reason it was a lot bigger ;-) Just means you did a great job with the aquascape as it seems a lot larger.

It's getting bigger and bigger by the day, although I don't feed it.
It's a 36"×36"×20" tank and I recently resisted the temptation of getting a 50"×50"×22". I ended up rescaping the tank and removing lots of rock and corals/anemones. Today I took out a few more corals.
I did a video about the aquascape.

Wow!! Looks absolutely fantastic. Love the new scape. I might have to scale back my scape as well. I tend to add rocks when I should be removing them, allowing more space for flow and coral. Keep the videos coming [emoji1303]

Letting go of stuff is tough in any area of our lives and doing it inside of a reef tank is no different.
But when I manage to do that, the tank looks much better.
