Ammo lock killed my cleaner shrimp

Added ammo lock to a water change tonight because it says it neutralizes chloramines and I haven't changed the carbon blocks in the RODI in a while. With in 5 minutes my bonded pair of cleaner shrimp that I've had for months weren't moving. I noticed the water change water clouded the tank somewhat, and most of my corals closed up looking bad. I don't know what the heck is in this product, but hopefully my problem will save someone else from using it.

this product contains sodium thiosulfate pentahydrate which will rapidly drop Chlorine and Ph levels in which you should change water and test Ph Prior to adding it to tank.
Unless you know chlorine/chloromine levels which change periodically in water, you can and may overdose.
Aso as an example when they call for 1ml per 20 gallons. . .. its' 20 USEABLE gallons. With coral and rock, etc in tank, it may be 15 useable gallons and not a full 20 gallons.
One very important note should be made if chloramines are present. Sodium thiosulfate will neutralize the chlorine portion of chloramine. However, the free ammonia that is released in this reaction gives rise to an obvious problem since ammonia in small amounts is toxic to aquarium life.

Thanks for the insight. Been up all night doing water changes, 25 gallons at a time. Tang looks really bad, cardinal doesn't seem like it can swim right, and long nose hawk can't move. Don't think it will make it. Can't believe this.
