I know there is a test kit out there that will give me an accurate ammonia reading when I'm using prime but for the life of me I cannot remember what it is called. Can someone help please?

Oh my gosh! Thank you SO much. That is the exact kit I was looking for (Seachem free & total). The Nessler chemistry may work, Salifert, for example, or Seachem free ammonia but not total ammonia test could work, but not any kit employing the salicylate method, API, Red Sea. Any kit using a strong base will decompose the compound that reacted with the ammonia, reverse the reaction and release the ammonia into the test solution.
