Amoeba in my tank

Found this amoeba in a piece of green hair algae in my tank. You can see it feeding on some nannochloropsis Here.
If its eating algea, I'm happy to have it in my tank. Just thought it was interesting how complex the microbiome in our tanks are. There's a lot alot to biodiversity that I think we don't really touch on because we can't see it easily.

True, lots to discover with a strong magnifier or a microscope.

Here's a few little crustacean of some sort that I found in the detritus the other day:
