Yesterday i moved my tank about 1 foot from the wall. I also did a 25% water change along with cleaning my protein skimmer. Could moving a tank that small amount disturb it enough to cause an Amonia spike? Everything was fine before hand!

Are you using API test kit for ammonia?
Is the water cloudy?
If your second answer is no, then I would guess your first answer is 'Yes."

Should be fine if your water is clear.

They self resolve before the test will register the clearing

When to mix up fish meal: When was the last time you tried a different brand of food for your reef?
