Hard to tell with so much blue.
Appears to be holding on to rock well. Add a little white lighting. Moderate water flow, temp - 78 deg and Salinity 1.025=1.026

Salinity is good and temp is right at 78. This started right around the time we had the algae scrubber installed. When we moved here, the nitrates were in the red. Now we’re to light orange but maybe they don’t like the change? How do I test the water flow? We figured out how to adjust it, but I don’t know how to test it. Yesterday he was pretty opened but not big and healthy looking. I’ll try making the photo better.

Is this any better? I’m not all into this yet, all I know is phosphates, salinity and temperature are good. Nitrates are holding steady at a light orange color when tested.

It was probably because of the nitrates. Get that under control.

we are little by little. We’ve been thru hell to get them down so having it at lighter orange makes me very very happy. The bubble tip was nice and healthy when we moved in.

I have no idea. We just moved here in November and the tank, corals and fish stayed with the house. I never even owned a goldfish before. Here’s my setup.

That came with the house!!!!
That looks like it could be a $5000+ setup!!!! The apex alone was probably $800!!
What is the tank size+sump?

I know right?!? Crazy! and it’s not a crazy huge rich person house (because we are not even close)! I know it’s 120 gallons but I’m not sure what you mean by sump size.

We did lose a peppermint shrimp. Noticed it tonight. Maybe he jacked with the bubble tip and the bubble tip killed it. We added the shrimp a week or so ago to help clean the rocks.

When you added the shrimp to your tank did you just put it in or did you happed to acclimate to your tank? This could have been the reason the shrimp has died. It also might not be dead if you just noticed it tonight. It might have molted.

We acclimated it the way the guy at the store told us to. it was just white fluffy stuff with the legs. It was getting sucked up into the pump but we got it. There was no real body though.
