Anemone activity

Hello all, wondering if this is normal behavior. Had this anemone for almost a week. Very happy upon introduction to the tank. Sat his foot right where I placed him. Bee fully expanded 95% of the time. This morning a found a string of brown near the mouth. Wondering if he is just pooping and this behavior is normal or not. He now seems deflated. All parameters within expected ranges.

It looks like the mouth is gaping which is not great. If it doesn’t go back to normal within 24 hours you might need to consider taking action.

Thanks. Mouth appears to have closed up. Still monitoring. Hopefully its just a waste expulsion or something not major
