My BTA lost its zooxanthellea and now it's attached itself to a snail. Lol it is riding it around like its mount. I've been feeding it so it still has a brown foot but I need to get some zoos into his caboose. The poor chap has bleached and shrank up. He's suffering from a case of noobie owner syndrome. Any tips? Also I thought it looked funny so here are some pics. I mainly wanted to show the nem on the snail. Haha I'll take more pics when they move into a better spot.

You can buy zooxanthellae online from several big name sellers - supposedly those help when added properly.

That said, the main thing for bleached nems seems to generally be proper lighting and feeding from what I’ve read, so I’d hunt around the nems and clownfish forum here on R2R for some specific advice on how to help with the bleaching from someone more knowledgeable about nems than myself. There are plenty of threads about it you can read through there.

Also, I have to agree that it riding on the snail’s shell is awesome.
