Anemone color change

General question about anemones, for BTAs is it normal for them to become smaller and change color when pooping?

I was gone about 45 minutes and in that time my BTA shrunk and is more of a green than rose color. I noticed it had also pooped. Wondering if that is normal behavior?

Mine get darker sometimes. Always contract. Of course all of mine seem to recede into their rocks about an hour after lights go off too.
