I've got a BTA and a clown that has taken to it. The clown is pretty aggressive. Can I get a pair of porcelain/anemone crabs or is that going to be a potential issue? Will these guys coexist with the clown?

for the pairs questions...
I have 1 anemone crab in my carpet nem and he is fine...
Awesome little guy, keeps the nem clean and keeps the night critters off the nem.

Is a clown hosting the nem as well? If so, how do they interact with the crab?

My clowns host my bubble tips, at one point they did host the Carpet but when the carpet settled in the sand they left it for the bubble tip which was higher in the tank.
So no, in my tank my clowns and crab were not hosting the carpet at the same time. ( I didnt have the nem crab at that point).

I've had 3 clownfish, a porcelain crab and 2 sexy shrimp host my gigantea carpet anemone at once with no issues. Every now and then the crab would spook the sexy shrimp out but I don't think it was deliberate.

I have two anemone crabs and about thirty BTA's... The crabs can have any neme they want!!! Sometimes I see them together but mostly they are on their own nemes..occasionally there will be a "crab fight" over a mighty fine piece of mysis... But mostly the crabs hang out on the nemes at the top of the tank by the return and the clowns like the nemes in the middle section...
But if you only had one neme, and clowns and crabs all vying for it... I could maybe see a problem..so just have more than one!!

I'm pushing it with one. I've got a small bta in a five gallon tank. I also have a rock anemone so maybe the crab will host him.
