Anemone foot

Not for sure how the anemone lost its foot but a pistol shrimp moved in next door to the anemone and battled with it for a few weeks. There was no way to move the anemone or the shrimp. Then one day the anemone was floating around and his foot was still where he used to live. It seems to be ok but I am not able to get him to attach to anything. It just floats around now. Will it ever grow back it’s foot?

Oh no, that sounds horrible. I'm pretty sure you're anenome is doomed.
