I recently set up a reef tank and everything except my anemone seems to be doing well. All of my parameters are in the acceptable ranges. The anemone has only been in the tank three days. I am just a little concerned because the mouth is open, moved a little after i put it on but has stayed tooted where it is for 2 days now. And no brown slime coming out of the mouth. Any help is appreciated.

Hey friend, welcome to Reef2Reef!

Can you post your parameters, lighting info, and tank age. From your initial post in this thread, it sounds like the tank is pretty new? Anemones can be pretty sensitive creatures that fare better in more mature tanks. Either way, we'll try to help you get it sorted out!

Yeah, got a little to excited setting up the tank. Did a full cycle but didn't let it mature before the anemone went in, about 1.5 months old. Also thought the placement might be the issue but its firmly rooted. It's a 45 gallon tank with 10 gallon sump. The light is just the aquaone mariglo 40W, between 9-11 hours a day.
Parameters are:
Salinity 1.025
No ammonia, nitrite, nitrates or phosphate.
Dkh~10
Carbonate~7.5
PH 8.2
