Hi,

last sunday I got a Anemone for my tank.
It looked good for a few days, but today it decided to wander into a hole.

Does anyone know if this is normal behaviour?
I heard they do this when they want to split.

Sounds like an anemone doing anemone things. They will move until they find an established spot. Even then, they still might choose to move. I wouldn't worry about it

Normal behaviour
It will come out eventually don't worry about it. I have had them hide for weeks. Just hasn't found it good place . They do move about its trying to get settled in your reefs environment.
Light/ flow . Everything will be good just let it do it's own thing

My nems move all the time. Its ridiculous.

They are the cats of reefing IMO.
That is probably the best way to describe them, haha

Okay, it came out of hiding i think it just wanted to anchor its foot really deep.

Mine would sometimes go inside its hole when the lights turned off, then reappear once the lights came on.

Just a small update for anyone that is interested, a few days ago it came out of hiding in the same spot i put it originally. And since then it looks happy.

(My clowns are little jerks and are still not hosting it)

I have heard playing a video of clownfish hosting can show them the behavior. I have never had success with rbta and clownfish. Try a peppermint long tentacle anemone. But then it will be an anemone tank.
