I recently purchased two anemones from petco for $12 each, they said they were condi anemones but I kinda just played along because I knew they weren’t. One looks like a bubble tip.. but if someone could please help me ID both I’d appreciate it

How long ago did you get the bubble tip ?
You can definitely nurse it back to a rose color but will take sometime. Feedings will be needed.
The top one looks healthy btw.

I just bought them both yesterday actually, do you have any idea what the one on top is? I was thinking a ritteri anemone

I can’t ID but someone else with ID it for you. Over the course of a week or two there going to look kinda bad and good.
You have all the requirements for nems ?

Will it Get color back? Or is it just going to die? Never heard of a bleached anemone before

It should be fine.

Petco does not have proper lighting, nor proper feeding. (not the fault of the salt caretaker at Petco) That is the chief reason color has been lost. But will come back if you have lighting to sustain and spot feed every now and then.

Eh.

At the moment it is a bit hard to tell. Petco is not big on selling Magnificent Anemones. In fact, I've never seen them carry one...but you never know.

My first guess was mag/ritteri, and agree BTA on other one.

Post pics of foot and base for ID.

I have seen just about every type of anemone pass through our petco's here, and one of the nicest looking mags I've ever seen was actually at a petco, unfortunately at that time I was broke down and moving or I would have got it.

Squirt mysis towards any bleached nems a couple times a week to help regain health and color.
