woke up this morning and couldn’t find my bta anywhere. After a minute or two of looking I found him tucked in my zoa colony. I know bta sting other corals and knew before hand that they moved so I’m not freaking out.
But I’d like to know if he will in time destroy all of the zoas or if it’s kind of like a by choice thing. Could he live there in peice with them?

I also think he stung my Kenya tree before so I moved it, I posted a pic. Can anyone determine what’s wrong with him

As long as it isn’t for an extended period of time your Zoanthids and Palythoas will be just fine. At least this is what I experience. I have Ultra Rock Anemones and a huge Long Tentacle Anemone in my tanks with Zoanthids and Palythoas with no detrimental effects as the anemones get situated into their happy place.
Case and point! How many times have aquarists experienced Aiptasia and Majano anemones popping up in locations that were previously devoid of? The neighboring Polyps will close up but once they are either removed or moved away so their is no contact, the polyps will open up again. I think it’s more of a light issue where the Zoanthids and Palythoas will remain closed till the Anemone is gone. This prohibits the zooxanthellae host of beneficial light for photosynthesis which if this issue is prolonged then death will ensue. However, I don’t think they are getting stung per say.
