this happened a while back but i never found out... i had a nice anemone i placed in my tank then one night i find out it gets stuck to an unreachable place and then a few weeks later my tank crashes and it completely disapears no trace left... so i assumed it died but it was my first time with an anemone and i did not and still do not know if that is any way normal when they die... or is it somewhere in my tank where to this day i dont know where.

I've had nems go hiding but hopefully they move to a place where they get enough light and food to thrive. Sorry about your nem. I have also had nems that did not thrive and died, but in my case they were in a place I could see them and removed the mushy carcass without polluting the entire tank. They are known to create tank crashes when they die and deteriorate in a tank.

Again, Welcome to Reef2reef!

thank you it was only one nem and yeah it caused a crash... it killed alot of the tank and i was only capable to save a few and noly today only 3 made it out alive and well. it was bad timing as a ick outbreak came aswell now though im recovered and now have a almost full stock tank.
