My bubble tip anemone is two years old now it does not expand like it used to all my corals - hard and soft seem happy. My my female maroon clown has grown pretty large and is always swimming in and out. The anemone did eat a piece of shrimp about a week ago it is not eating like it used to
Anyone have any ideas?

It looks pretty healthy to me. Years ago people talked a lot about allelopathy, and I do see you have a robust haddoni nearby. I wonder if that could be an issue?

Actually that is a toadstool mushroom leather coral
My anemone hasn’t been expanding enough to come in contact with it

Oh, looked like a carpet anemone. Either way, some people suspect chemicals released from other anemones/corals sometimes has a detrimental effect. The solution suggested generally is granulated activated carbon and protein skimming. The jury seems to still be out just how much allelopathy occurs.

Looking back to your reefing roots: Did you start with Instant Ocean salt?
