Anemone poop?

My BTA is fully open when light is on, feed him on Sunday. Just expell some black stuff tonight when it deflate, mouth is still close when expell the black stuff. Mouth close normally after that, but have not inflate back, since it is at night also. Is he pooping?

I think from memory those are fairly new to tank, those foods are fine.
I wouldn't do bigger foods that take more energy to digest if new to tank, in fact I usually leave it alone first couple weeks unless it's bleached and needs food and mysis is my go to.
It probably did just expel some waste.

Thank you :). He scared me abit yesterday, I got him for only 99 at my local fishstore around 5-6”
