Hopefully this isn't a silly question but how often would you guys say anemones split due to stress from shipping, changing tanks from LFS to your home tank?

2 of mine split pretty rapidly within 2 days of introduction to the tank. So was curious to see how prevalent this actually is.

It is pretty common for them to split when move to a new tank. I would say around 5% of the ones I sell do. Especially if alk is much different. Although, it is probably not the only reason.

I assume you're talking about BTAs. It's fairly common for them to split. Sometimes I dump ATO water on mine to stress them a bit to get them to split. That said, some individual BTAs may never split, others split to the point where they become pests because they're multiplying so quickly.

Yep bubble tip anemones. Tha is for the input makes sense there would be some variability between them.
